Does Cooksy work with indoor cooktop griddles?

When using a griddle, Cooksy would show you surface temperatures and you could set temperature pins.  That would give you huge insight into the temperature of the hot spots on your griddle.  

However, Recipe Recording and Recipe Following could be problematic with a griddle that covers the whole stove, as Cooksy specifically looks for a pan, and the "Pan Temperature reading" would be inaccurate.
